Description
Abstract
Since the 1950ies, the erection of exclosures have been discussed as the number of ungulates raised steadily in the park. Since 1987, several exlosures have been built, without a concret project concerning their spatial distribution or their scientific purpose.

Purpose
The installation of exclosures results from the question of the influence of ungulates on the forest develompent, especially the process of rejuvenation. The exclosures are a methodical tool to investigate these influences the differences in development with/without ungulates and the degree of influence they have on the vegetation.
