Abstract:
Location of the sampling sites of the Macun fish part of the monitoring programme (overall responsability: EAWAG)

Purpose:
The development of the fish population in the Lakes of Macun is monitored. In 1993, brown trouts and american fingerlings have been released in order to use the lakes for fishing. Since the lakes are frozen several months and do not contain a lot of nutrients, they usually do not have fish. the question is whether and how the population can survive in this environment
