Abstract:
The BAFU manages different measurement networks and therefore delivers actual information, longlasting data series and synthesis concerning discharge, water level and water quality of rivers, lakes and ground waters. |
Metadata elements shown with blue text are defined in the Federal Geographic Data Committee's (FGDC) Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM). Elements shown with green text are defined in the ESRI Profile of the CSDGM. Elements shown with a green asterisk (*) will be automatically updated by ArcCatalog. ArcCatalog adds hints indicating which FGDC elements are mandatory; these are shown with gray text.
The BAFU manages different measurement networks and therefore delivers actual information, longlasting data series and synthesis concerning discharge, water level and water quality of rivers, lakes and ground waters.
The FC contains 5 points, 3 of the BAFU, one managed by the Engadiner Kraftwerke EKW and the third at the Spöl bridge in Zernez, where during the artificial floods the discharge has been measured by the HYDRA office.

The original locations come from a coverage created by Britta Allgöwer in 1997. With the help of the aerial image (lv95), the positions have been shifted on the buildings in the rivers, which are very well visible.
