After artificial floods, the spöl river is monitored between Punt dal Gall and Punt Periv in order to assess the changes and the development of the vegetation growing on the sand- and gravel banks of the river. The vegetation is recorded as a percentual coverage and the growth of the young pines is monitored. At the same time, a picture documentation is realised at different places, which are interesting after a certain event and which are visible from the hiking trail.
Location of the transects used to assess vegetation changes after artificial floods in the river spöl.
