Abstract:
Since 1997, the soil creeping at Munt Chavagl is observed. Additionally, ground- and airtemperature are measured. In 1995, both the marks as the climate station have been modernised. |
Metadata elements shown with blue text are defined in the Federal Geographic Data Committee's (FGDC) Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM). Elements shown with green text are defined in the ESRI Profile of the CSDGM. Elements shown with a green asterisk (*) will be automatically updated by ArcCatalog. ArcCatalog adds hints indicating which FGDC elements are mandatory; these are shown with gray text.
Since 1997, the soil creeping at Munt Chavagl is observed. Additionally, ground- and airtemperature are measured. In 1995, both the marks as the climate station have been modernised.
This datafile displays the installations realized in the surroundings of the soil creeping structures: Climate station, Fix- and referencepoint and the spot where the soil temperature loggers are burried.
Status Geometry: Confirmed 1. 2009 Status Data: Complete 1. 2009 The climate data from Munt Chavagl are stored in Q:\prjdata\klima\climate_chavagl. The following parameters are measured: Airtemperature, surface temp, soil temp (10, 20, 40, 60, 100cm), snow height, reflected radiation and wind speed.

For scientific use
All the survey data of the Munt Chavagl project were measured with a infrared theodolite. The attributes have been slightly adapted with the help of F.Keller.
