Locations of the street talus observation plots
In 1969, following the improvement of the road across the Ofen Pass, Frank Klötzli of the Geobotanical Institute of ETH, Rübel foundation, established a number of permanent plots on the newly created road verges, in order to study the impact of different seed mixtures on the development of the vegetation, both on the denuded verges an in the adjacant forest.
